Synopsis:
A mix of sun and clouds is expected for today. Upper level energy will move toward the region bringing the clouds.
Tonight will be mainly cloudy with seasonal readings.
The better half of the weekend will be Mother’s Day. Scattered showers are in the forecast for Saturday as the last piece of energy with the upper level low moves off the coast. Mother’s Day will start off with morning sun, but the clouds will roll in during the day and I have now included the chance of showers by mid-afternoon. I was hoping that the rain would hold off until evening, but Mother Nature has her own plans as a warm front approaches. Temperatures this weekend will be cooler than average.
Morning showers Monday will give way to mostly cloudy skies by afternoon as the low moves offshore.
Tuesday will be bright with readings just below the seasonal averages of the upper 60s.
Stay tuned.
