Heating Up Thursday…

Synopsis:

High pressure will move off the East coast and become a hot weather maker. Temperatures will rise today to above average readings. Uncomfortable conditions are expected Friday. Readings will soar well into the 90s and the heat index may near 105º at times along the urban corridor. Spotty storms are possible Friday afternoon and evening as a weak front drifts into the region. This feature will knock down the very high temperatures for Saturday. It’ll still be hot but not as intense.

Sunday will be the cooler day of the weekend with readings near the seasonal averages of the mid 80s. Scattered storms are possible in the afternoon as a disturbance moves in.

Hot conditions will return Monday as a bubble of heat moves in from the South and West.

Stay tuned.
