Another Dreary, Damp Day…

Synopsis:

It’s a rinse and repeat forecast. A warm front remains to our South with high pressure over the Northern Atlantic. This combination of systems will keep our skies grey with spotty showers and areas of drizzle through today. There will be dry times. Temperatures will continue to be well below the average high of the lower 80s.

A return to warmer and more humid will be on the way for midweek as the warm front moves through and high pressure setup shop off the Southeast coast. And yes, the sun will make an appearance! Thursday will be the hottest day of the week with readings topping 90º in many areas. Spotty storms are possible both Wednesday and Thursday afternoons.

A cool front (if you want to call it that) will move offshore Friday and bring down our temperatures and humidity. Highs will be just above average.

A heatwave looks to begin on Sunday or Monday.

Stay tuned.
