Rain will develop today from South to North with weak low pressure moving up from the South. The rain heavier and steadier rain will be over central and Southern NJ. Lighter rain will be to the North. On and off rain will continue tonight.
Thursday will feature the threat of early morning showers mainly North and East of the City. Much of the day will be dry with peeks of sun possible.
Much of Friday looks rain-free. A second area of low pressure will work up from the South. The threat of showers are possible by late day or evening. Rain is likely Friday night.
Low pressure will be off the coast on Saturday. Morning showers are possible. The sun should make an afternoon comeback.
Sunday will be the best of the bunch with mainly sunny skies as drier Northwest wind takes hold.
Temperatures throughout the period will be below average. The average high is in the mid 70s.
