Seasonable Sun Monday…

Synopsis:

Today and Tuesday will feature mainly sunny skies and near seasonal readings. The average high is in the lower 70s. High pressure over Eastern Canada will nose into the region and will be responsible for our pleasant conditions.

Rain will develop Wednesday and continue on and off into Thursday as low pressure moves up the Piedmont and then off the NJ coast. It’ll be raw and windy as well with temperatures well below average. This looks like a widespread rain event with most areas receiving over an inch of rain.

By Friday the low will be off the New England coast. A few showers are possible under a mostly cloudy sky. Readings will still be about ten degrees below the average high of the lower to mid 70s.

Stay tuned.
