Warmth Returns Monday. Late Day Storms…

Synopsis:

A Southwest wind will prevail today. The mercury will pop to around 70º. Balmy is the operative word. The best chance for showers and possibly some thunderstorms is later in the day and in the evening with an approaching cool front. Some of the storms may become severe especially to the West of the City. Keep an eye to the sky for threatening weather after 4pm. The rain maybe heavy at times this evening. An inch of rain is possible in many areas.

Tuesday and Wednesday will feature strong high pressure over the Northeast. This will result in much cooler readings. Skies will be mainly sunny on Tuesday. Sun will give way to clouds on Wednesday as a warm front approaches. Showers are possible later in the day.

Once again the mercury will rise into the 70s on Thursday as we get warm sectored. A cool front will approach with showers possible during the afternoon. The threat of showers continues into Friday morning as the front gets washed out. It’ll still be warm.

Stay tuned.
