Synopsis:
Rain and areas of downpours will be with us into this evening as a cool front moves in. Winds will be busy gusting up to 40mph. Use caution during this time frame as local street flooding is possible. The rain will taper off by the late evening. Up to an inch of rain is possible.
Behind the front on Thursday the sun will return. Readings will still be above average.
On Friday and through the weekend temperatures will be more seasonable with high pressure nosing in from the Plains. A persistent Northwest wind will be with us. A mix of sun and clouds is expected through the period.
We “Spring Ahead” this weekend. Daylight Saving Time begins on Sunday at 2am. Set your clocks ahead one hour. We lose an hour of sleep but gain an hour of daylight Sunday evening! It’s also a good reminder to change the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
Stay tuned.
Keep it here for a no nonsense, no hype forecast.
