Thickening Clouds Tuesday…

Synopsis:

Today will feature low pressure moving up from the South. Any sun will give way to increasing clouds. Snow is possible at night (starting between 7pm & 10pm), especially South of the City. The potential is there for accumulating snow, again mainly to the South where the steadiest and heaviest snow looks likely (map above). North of the City little in the way of snow is expected.

Early morning light snow is possible Wednesday along the coast and to the South, otherwise remaining mostly cloudy.

A potent system will work up the Appalachians Wednesday night and Thursday morning. Snow or a mix is possible Wednesday night. Some accumulation is possible before the changeover. Thursday morning rain will taper off. Sunshine will increase during the day with above average temperatures.

The week will end bright and chilly for Valentine’s Day.

The next low will move toward the East coast later Saturday. Sun will give way to increasing clouds. Rain is possible by late day.

Stay tuned.
