Synopsis:.
It’ll be a gloomy last weekend of 2024. On and off rain will taper off by early to mid-afternoon. Readings (for a change) will be several degrees above the average high of the lower 40s.
Areas of light rain, drizzle and patchy fog will develop tonight with an approaching warm front.
The warm front will move through the region in the morning with showers and areas of drizzle and fog. Once the front moves North it”ll become balmy. A Spring feel for sure. If we’re lucky skies may brighten for a time.
Rain is likely Sunday night with an approaching front from the West.
Early morning showers Monday will give way to partly sunny skies. It’ll remain mild.
New Year’s Eve Day should be dry. Rain is possible by evening and at the strike of midnight.
New Year’s Day will may start off damp. The front and low pressure system will move off the coast resulting in increasing sunshine. Temperatures will still be a few to several degrees above average.
Looking down the pike- colder conditions look to be on the way.
Stay tuned.
