Synopsis:.
Strong high pressure will move over the Northeast this weekend. Skies will be bright and it’ll be cold Saturday. Readings will be several degrees below the average high of the mid 40s.
On Sunday, the cold high will move off the New England coast. Sun will give way to clouds. It’ll still be chilly.
A light scattered mix is possible Sunday night inland as a weak disturbance moves over the region. Showers are expected along the coast.
Any early morning showers will end on Monday. Skies will give way to sun and it’ll be milder.
On Monday night and early Tuesday morning a front will push through with another round of showers. Skies will become mostly sunny later in the morning on Tuesday. Temperatures will soar well into the 50s.
Wednesday will feature sun giving way to clouds. Readings will still be a few degrees above average.
Looking down the pike there is a low potential of a morning mix on Thursday as low pressure moves up and off the coast. There is a signal for an active jet stream over the Eastern US Friday through next weekend. What this will mean for our area is still anybody’s guess, but right now JMW is keeping it storm-free but cold.
Stay tuned.
