Still Warm Thursday…

Synopsis:

A weak cool front has moved through the region, but the cooler air is well North and West of the area. Readings today will still be fifteen degrees above the average high of the upper 50s. Friday will be mild. Both days will feature abundant sunshine.

Saturday will be more seasonable as the high to the Northwest brings the cooler airmass down. There is a chance of showers Sunday afternoon with an approaching front from the West. This doesn’t look significant.

Thursday will be the 38th consecutive day without measurable rainfall at Newark. The state’s drought continues to worsen. Conserve water and please use caution outdoors with flammables.

Stay tuned.
