Cool, Bright Sunday…

Synopsis:

Chilly high pressure will dominate our weather through Sunday. Temperatures will be a few degrees below the average high of the lower 60s. Wall to wall sunshine is expected.

Abundant sunshine along with cool temperatures are in the forecast for the beginning of the week.

The high will move off the Eastern seaboard and eventually become a warm weather maker. Readings will go above average by a few on Tuesday. By Wednesday and Halloween temperatures will soar well into the 70s and flirt with 80º for the ghosts and goblins.

Our stretch with no rain for the month of October for most areas continues. The latest drought map has been posted. Almost a third of NJ is now in a severe drought. Conserve water and please use caution outdoors with flammables.

Stay tuned.
