Synopsis:
Extensive high pressure off the Northeast coast will dominate our area today. Abundant sunshine is expected with near seasonal temperatures. The average highs are in the mid to upper 70s.
The high will slip farther off the coast Tuesday through Thursday. This will allow low pressure to the South to throw clouds our way Tuesday. The shower threat has increased for Wednesday and Thursday as the lows precipitation band potentially moves our way. Many areas need the rain. Hopefully it will be a meaningful.
By Friday, the high over the Northern Atlantic should have enough punch to dry the atmosphere out. JMW is keeping it dry for now.
Stay tuned.
