Synopsis:
High pressure continues to build along and off the coast. This will result in abundant sunshine today and Summer-like readings. Readings will be much cooler along immediate coast and parts of Long Island.
There is a chance of isolated storms late tonight with a weak disturbance approaching.
On Thursday the weak disturbance will move through in the morning with a spotty storm. Hazy sun and clouds are expected. It will still be warm but more humid. A spotty storm is possible again later in the day and evening with the passage of a cool front.
Friday will be a winner with lower humidity and warm temperatures.
The Memorial Day Weekend will start off with a shower threat on Saturday as a warm front approaches. Sunday looks dry with a decent amount of sun. A mix of sun and clouds is expected for Memorial Day with scattered storms possible (the timing needs to be worked out).
Keep it here for a no nonsense, no hype forecast.
