Synopsis:
The remnants of Tropical Storm Ophelia will move into our region today and Monday. Yes, this low will be stubborn to exit resulting in the threat of on and off rain through the period. Winds have diminished some with the weakening low. Despite the storms loss of tropical characteristics, one to two additional inches of rain exists through Monday night. Flash flooding is possible in the heaviest areas of rain.
By Tuesday, the system will finally have moved off the coast and high pressure will nose in from the North. A mix of sun and clouds is expected with cool readings. Bright and cool conditions are expected midweek as the high continues to influence our conditions.
