Sct’d Showers This AM. Clouds Rule…

Synopsis:

A ripple of  low pressure will move to our South bringing with it scattered showers through this morning. Unfortunately, the clouds will win the battle during the afternoon. Readings will be several degrees above the average high of 42º .

Friday (New Year’s Eve) now looks to be mainly cloudy as a washout front will be nearby. It should be rain-free. At the stroke of midnight readings will be in the 40s in our region with dry conditions.

2022 will start off dry, but low pressure heading our way from the Southwest will bring with it scattered showers. It will be balmy with readings feeling more like Spring than January 1st.

A second low over the Southeast will ride up and along a stationary front offshore of our region on Sunday. Scattered showers are in the forecast with mild conditions continuing.

January will show its true colors on Monday as a cold blast arrives. Temperatures will be only near freezing for daytime highs despite the sunshine. The wind will add a bite.
