Synopsis:
A cold front will move through this morning. Any early morning showers will give way to mainly sunny skies. High temperatures will occur in the morning. Temperatures at this time will be around the average high of 52º. During the afternoon a strong Northwest wind will develop and readings will being to tumble into and through the 4os.
A Freeze Warning is up tonight for New York City (a temperature of 32º has not yet occurred this season so far, hence the warning).
Tuesday will be the coldest day of the season so far with a gusty wind from Canada. Temperatures will be ten degrees below average with windchills near freezing. At least it’ll be sunny.
Looking ahead to Wednesday and Thanksgiving in our region, the weather will cooperate. Readings will slowly moderate to near average levels by the holiday.
Conditions will change rapidly for shoppers on Friday. A cold front will move through during the morning with scattered showers. The sun will return and the wind increase and become gusty by midday. Highs will once again occur in the morning with readings falling through the 40s during the day.
