Synopsis:
It’s all about location with temperatures today. High pressure East of New England will keep areas right along the coast and to the East of the City cool due to the influence of an ocean breeze off the chilly Atlantic. Temperatures will still be at or just above seasonal levels (the lower 70s). To the West readings will be the warmest. The push of cool air will stall just East of here. Mainly sunny skies are expected for today.
It will heat up in all areas this weekend. The bubble of very warm air will encompass the entire region as high pressure off the Southeast coast brings in the heat. Saturday and Sunday will feature a mix of sun and clouds. Both days will be Summer-like with readings in the upper 80s to around 90º.
A cool front will work in Sunday night with relief. Monday will be much cooler and seasonal. On Tuesday temperatures will begin there upward climb once again.
Keep it here for a no nonsense, no hype forecast.
