Synopsis:
The back to work and school forecast will be much cooler with scattered showers and storms as a system moves in from the West. Temperatures along the coast will be only in the upper 60s with a cool wind off the Atlantic. Inland and to the South and West readings will be in the 70s. Some of the storms may become strong to severe later today and early tonight, especially inland. A stationary front will be draped through the area into Thursday. When the front slips to the North it will be quite warm and when it slips to the South readings will be comfortable. When this transition happens a spotty pm shower or storm cannot be ruled out through Thursday. By no means will it be a washout.
A cool front will move through Thursday night with showers and storms. Friday and Saturday will be rain-free with the sun dominating.
Keep it here for a no nonsense, no hype forecast.
Stay tuned.
