Synopsis:
A Southwest flow will continue today around an area of high pressure off the coast. This will result in hot and humid conditions. Readings will flirt with 90º. The combination of the heat and humidity make it feel near 100º in many areas. A Heat Advisory has been posted for the NYC vicinity and parts of Central NJ. Showers and storms are likely tonight with an approaching cool front. This front will mean business and drop the humidity drastically on Wednesday. It’ll also be the first truly cooler airmass of the late Summer season as temperatures will remain in the 70s for late week. A September preview!
