Synopsis:
Weather should not be an issue for viewing the solar eclipse today as high pressure continues to remain firm along the East coast. Hopefully any clouds will be few and far between. Please use caution if you are planning on looking at the eclipse. The eclipse will begin around 1pm and end around 4pm. The peak will be 2:45pm. At that time 70%-75% of the sun will be darkened. It’ll be warm; temperatures will be several degrees above average.
As a Southwest flow continues tonight and Tuesday the humidity will increase dramatically. Readings on Tuesday will approach 90º. Showers and storm with an approaching cool front will arrive Tuesday night. The front should swing off the coast quick enough keeping Wednesday dry with much lower humidity.
A September-like airmass will greet the Northeast by late week.
Stay Tuned.
