Father’s Day Not a Washout. Clouds/Sun. Spot Showers/Storms. Humid…

Synopsis:

A moist Southerly flow will continue around an area of high pressure in the Western Atlantic and a trough moving into the Ohio Valley. It’ll be tropical today and Monday. It will not be a complete washout. In fact there will be several hours where the weather will cooperate.

Father’s Day will start off grey with some drizzle. The sun will make an appearance in most areas. The majority of the afternoon should feature hazy skies. Isolated storms are possible during the afternoon and evening. It will be much warmer.

Once again, like the last several nights, clouds and fog will roll in tonight. It’ll be muggy and very warm.

A front will approach from the West on Monday with sun giving way to late day storms. The threat of severe weather exists. There is also a heavy rain threat. A Flash Flood Watch has been posted for many areas just inland from the coast. 1″-3″ of rain is possible. The storms and downpours look to move in from West to East after 3pm Monday. Please keep an eye to the sky for threatening weather.

After some morning showers on Tuesday the weather will be picture perfect mid-week.

Stay tuned.
