The cold snap will be short-lived as a warm push of air will work into the region as high pressure moves in from the West the next several days. The temperature map above shows a large chunk of the country in the 60’s. A piece of this warmth is headed in our direction.

Presidents’ Weekend looks mostly sunny with Spring Fever taking hold as temperatures skyrocket.

Today:

Partly sunny with diminishing winds. Highs in the lower 40s. Northwest to West winds at 10-15mph.

Tonight:

Partly cloudy and not as cold as recent nights. Lows in the mid to upper 30s in the City, the 20s inland. Northwest to Southwest winds under 5mph.

Saturday:

Partly sunny and mild with highs in the mid to upper 50s.

Sunday:

Partly sunny-Spring-like.  Highs in the upper 50s.

Presidents’ Day (Monday):

Sunny and mild.  Highs around 50º.

Tuesday:

Sunny, continued pleasant with readings in the mid to upper 40s.
