Milder Push Today. Nice Start to the Workweek…

Synopsis:

The return flow around the high pressure today will cause the cold air to retreat rapidly and allow for above average temperatures this afternoon.  A weak area of low pressure may affect the region on Tuesday with showers.

Tranquil conditions will return mid to late week.  There a signs that an energized trough may develop along the East coast by next Sunday.  This is still a long way off but it’s something on the radar (no pun intended).

Today:

Sunny and mild. Highs will be near 60º.  West wind at 8-12mph.

Tonight:

Clear skies. Lows in the lower to mid 40s in the City, the 20s inland. West wind at 5mph.

Monday:

Mostly sunny with highs in the upper 50s.

Tuesday:

Cloudy with a chance of showers.  Highs in the mid 50s.

Wednesday:

Partly sunny.  Highs in the mid 50s.

Thursday:

Sunny with readings near 60º.

Stay Tuned.

Keep it here for a no nonsense, no hype forecast.
