Synopsis:
The return flow around the high pressure today will cause the cold air to retreat rapidly and allow for above average temperatures this afternoon. A weak area of low pressure may affect the region on Tuesday with showers.
Tranquil conditions will return mid to late week. There a signs that an energized trough may develop along the East coast by next Sunday. This is still a long way off but it’s something on the radar (no pun intended).
