Mild Election Day. Drought Worsens…

 

Synopsis:

High pressure will dominate our weather through Election Day. Plenty of sunshine is expected. No significant rain is in sight and the drought conditions will continue to worsen. Much of the area is in a severe drought. Rainfall deficits are between eight and twelve inches. A weak cool front will pass through the region tomorrow with a few spotty showers. A sharp cold front will arrive Friday with the coldest air of the season so far settling into the area by this weekend.

Election Day:

Sunny and warmer with highs in the mid 60s.  Northwest to Southwest wind less than 5mph.

Tonight:

Becoming mostly cloudy. Lows in the lower 50s in the City, the upper 30s inland.  West wind less than 5mph.

Wednesday:

More clouds than sun.  Spotty showers are possible. Readings will be in the mid to upper 50s.

Thursday:

Mostly sunny with highs in the mid to upper 50s.

Friday:

Partly sunny with highs around 60º.

Saturday:

Partly sunny, windy and much colder with highs in the mid to upper 40s.
